Future Opening: Pavement Maintenance Technician
Part Time • Virginia Beach
• Use equipment to perform line painting, asphalt crack-filling and sealcoating, power
washing, epoxy flooring and more
• Plan and facilitate the production of a high-quality project
• Communicate job status daily with the Operations Manager
• Maintain a safe, hazard-free job site
• Additional tasks as required
WHAT YOU BRING
• A VA driver’s license with a clean driving record (Driver’s Abstract is required) and a
reliable mode of transportation
• You are self-motivated, critical thinker that likes to problem solve
• You understand the importance of punctuality, organization and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a physically demanding role with lots of walking, bending and lifting
(up to 75lbs)
• Ability to work well independently unsupervised
• Past experience with small engines (like lawnmowers) and/or paint sprayers is an
asset
• An Engineering educational background is an asset

Jason has spent almost 20 years in the Navy in Active Duty and Reserves (and looking forward to retiring soon) honing his troubleshooting and critical thinking skills as an IT and Cybersecurity professional and leader, both in the Navy and as a contractor for the Navy. Stephanie spent eight years as a teacher before transitioning to a jack-of-all-trades, high-stress, fast-paced role as a stay-at-home mom when they started their family.
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, Jason, and Stephanie took different paths to the Hampton Roads area (2004 and 2003 respectively) where they met and eventually got married in 2007. As Steeler fans, Stephanie says the black and gold colors of line striping and pavement maintenance were calling. They have 2 intelligent, strong, and loving children who they enjoy creating memories and life experiences with.
Jason and Stephanie love Hampton Roads for all it has to offer! They thoroughly enjoy experiencing the local businesses, especially food and beverage. They love taking open-air drives in their Jeep through the rural areas of Pungo and Strawbridge, and the beaches of Sandbridge, the Oceanfront, and Chic’s. They enjoy all the festivals offered throughout the 7 cities and love seeing each city take pride in providing safe, fun, and affordable things to do for all.
